Welcome to Essence of Light.
Essence of Light Studio is the photographic studio of Maurice Wright LBIPP LMPA, and has traded in Wisbech since the beginning of 2000. The studio specializes in wedding, portrait and social photography, but also has the capability of undertaking small product and promotional work.
Essence of Light is a passionate photography firm who use traditional concepts with a contempory twist to truly capture those once in a lifetime moments. We cater for wedding and portrait photography. We work for the general public around Cambridgeshire and Norfolk.
We capture the likeness of a person or a small group of people, usually in a flattering manner! The photographs made and sold directly to the end user of the images.

Maurice is an experienced photographer and is a qualified member of the British Institute of Professional Photographers and the Master Photographers Association. He is also a long standing member of the Royal Photographic Society.
Essence of Light Studio is one of the few photographers still using medium format film cameras for formal wedding and portrait photography. We also use the latest digital SLR cameras for the more contemporary work.
Our studio is equipped with the latest Elincrom lighting system and continuous backgrounds and is suitable for child and family portraiture in classic and modern styles. Visit our mainsite.
